About Dr. Koloras

Dr. Koloras provides clinical services at Cognitive Health Solutions, LLC to children, adults, couples, and families as they face a wide array of challenges that grows wider and more complex as we evolve as a society. Her services include psychotherapy and psychological assessments. She has a great deal of experience working with children of various ages who struggle to manage their family, academic and social lives.

She can serve as a support bridge between these worlds and often assist communication and cooperation among parents, teachers, coaches, doctors, and other service providers. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Koloras worked in school settings ranging from elementary to high school. Her special interest areas include child and adolescent development, co-parenting within blended families, anxiety disorders, and marital issues. Dr. Koloras has earned her Master of Science (MS) degree from the University of Baltimore and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Argosy University.

About Jessica

Jessica Hurda is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania as well as a National Certified Counselor. Jessica attended Indian University of Pennsylvania earning her Bachelors of Science in Child Development and Family Studies. She then continued to Walden University to get her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in trauma and crisis. Jessica has been providing services in the mental health field since 2010 in community, school, home, inpatient hospitalization, and outpatient settings.

Jessica has extensive experience and knowledge working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma and crisis. Jessica can provide a warm, safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals to feel comfortable processing difficult experiences.

She is confident in working with a variety of needs including anxiety disorders, depression, grief & loss, transition/adjustment difficulties, relational conflicts including poor communication and codependency, impulse control and other behavioral and emotional limitations. Jessica uses an integrative approach of modalities to best fit individual needs so they can discover their potential. Including cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, mindful based techniques, and structural family therapy.

About Karen

In her 20+ years of providing therapeutic services, Karen has worked with a variety of populations to address anxiety, depression, disordered eating and body image issues, grief and loss, relationship disruption as well as trauma and stress related issues. She has served in a variety of mental health settings, including community outpatient programs, crime victim assistance, crisis management and critical incident response, college counseling, rehabilitation hospital and private practice. Karen is skilled in cognitive behavioral and person-centered therapies. She uses motivational, collaborative and integrative approaches such as mindfulness and/or narrative techniques to assist clients. In 2019, she completed the intensive training and application process through the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society in Massachusetts and became a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher.

About Luana

Luana Robinson has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2005. She attended Mount Saint Mary’s for her undergraduate studies and McDaniel College for her Master of Science. She has been working in the mental health field for 15 years in the school, home, and community settings.

She has extensive knowledge in working with young children and adults who are on the Autism Spectrum and can be a great support system for the entire family. She is well versed in social skills development, transition goals, and sensory integration difficulties.

Luana is great at implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities to accommodate the needs of her clients. She has worked with a multitude of diagnoses, including neurodevelopmental disorders, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, conduct disorders, and impulse control disorders.
